About The Warming Center

What's the Warming Center Community?

We are a group of inter-denominational churches, organizations and friends joining together to provide overnight shelter for any adults during the cold winter months.

Where is the Shelter Located?

For the upcoming 2022 Season the shelter is hosted by Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church located at 828 New Jersey Ave. Sheboygan, WI 53081.

When Does the Shelter Operate?

  • Our goal for 2022 Season is to be open the months of December 2021 through March 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., seven days a week.

How does the shelter operate?

Guests arrive between 7:00pm and 7:45pm.  After that they may only gain admittance with a police referral. Guests leaving after 7:45pm. may not re-enter. Guest limit of 20 due covid-19 concerns.

The Mission of the Sheboygan County Warming Center (SCWC) is to provide a safe, warm, non-judgmental facility for any single adults that find themselves without safe and overnight shelter from December though March,
